来源:教材第88页
The UK has had fully democratic voting since 1928. The voting age was reduced to 18 in 1969. Adult UK citizens and Commonwealth/Irish citizens resident in the UK can vote in all public elections. Adult citizens of other EU states resident in the UK can vote in all elections except General Elections. To vote, you must be on the electoral register, updated every September/October. In Northern Ireland, individual registration is required.
