The Life in the UK test consists of 24 multiple-choice questions covering the whole handbook. You must answer at least 75% correctly (18 out of 24) to pass. The test lasts 45 minutes and is taken on a computer at an approved test centre. It is usually taken in English, but can be taken in Welsh or Scottish Gaelic on request.
