Driving: Licence, MOT, Insurance
驾驶:执照、MOT、保险
来源:教材第81页
In the UK, you must be at least 17 to drive a car or motorcycle (16 for moped). You need a driving licence, requiring a theory test (multiple choice + hazard perception) and a practical test. Cars/motorcycles must be registered with the DVLA. You must pay annual road tax and have valid motor insurance — driving without insurance is a serious criminal offence. If your vehicle is over 3 years old, it must have a yearly MOT (Ministry of Transport) test. Licences are valid until age 70, then renewed every 3 years.
