圣诞节传统

来源:教材第51页

Christmas Day (25 December) is a public holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Many Christians attend church on Christmas Eve (24 December) or Christmas Day. Traditional celebrations include a special meal with roast turkey, Christmas pudding and mince pies; exchanging gifts; sending cards; and decorating a tree. Young children believe Father Christmas (Santa Claus) brings presents overnight. Boxing Day (26 December) is also a public holiday.
