Snowdonia and Welsh Geography

Snowdonia is a national park in North Wales covering 838 square miles (2,170 square kilometres). Its most well-known landmark is Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. The park attracts walkers, climbers and tourists. Wales has a rich Celtic heritage, with the Welsh language taught in schools and universities. The Welsh dragon features on the Welsh flag but not on the Union Flag.
