Loch Lomond and Lough Neagh

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park covers 720 square miles in western Scotland. Loch Lomond is the largest expanse of fresh water in mainland Britain. Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland is actually the largest freshwater lake in the British Isles by surface area. These lakes are significant features of UK geography and popular leisure destinations.
