Other Major Religions in the UK

Islam: Second largest religion (~5%). Five pillars: shahada, prayer, charity, fasting, pilgrimage. Main festivals: Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha.
Hinduism: Third largest (~1.5%). Festivals include Diwali (festival of lights) and Holi.
Sikhism: Originated in Punjab, India. Festivals include Vaisakhi (14 April). Gurdwara is the Sikh place of worship.
Judaism: One of the oldest practised religions in the UK. Festivals include Hanukkah and Passover.
Buddhism: Follows the teachings of the Buddha. Wesak is the main festival.
