Rights of UK citizens: • Vote in all UK elections • Stand for election • Apply for a UK passport • Access UK law protections Responsibilities: • Obey the law • Pay taxes • Register to vote • Serve on a jury if called • Ensure children receive education • Look after your area To become a citizen, you must pass the Life in the UK test, meet English language requirements, and take a citizenship ceremony.
