How you get your result

Reading the result

The result is simply pass or fail. A pass means you scored at least 18 out of 24. You are not told your exact score if you pass, and there is no grade or percentage on the letter, just the outcome you need for your application.

- Will the letter show my exact score?
- No. If you pass, the letter confirms the pass without a score. If you do not pass, you are told so you can rebook, but there is no detailed breakdown.
- How long do I keep the result letter?
- Keep it until your ILR or citizenship application is fully decided. A Life in the UK Test pass does not expire, so the letter stays valid for life.
